p. 53: “You’re a good guy, Caveman.” This is important because X-Ray, the leader of the group, is starting to like Stanley.
p. 63: Stanley moved up one place in line. This is important because Group D is starting to respect Stanley.

1. pg. 94 Then he turned to Zero, who had been quietly digging in his hole since Stanley’s return. Zero’s hole was smaller than all the others. This is important because it means that Zero dug Stanley’s hole. 2. pg. 86 “I stole it from your truck.” “You did?” “Yes, Mr. Sir.” This is important because Stanley is taking the blame

lying the whole time about liking to dig holes.

Page. 152: he hurried toward it. The pool hurried away from him moving as he moved and stopping as he stopped. This is important because it means Stanley is hallucinating.
Page. 158: zero groaned and suddenly bent over and grabbed his stomach. ‘‘Are you alright’’ said Stanley then zero fell to the ground and pulled his knees to his chest and softly groaned again. This is important because this could effect what Stanly and zero do in the rest of the book.
The End ;( Holes Chapter 44-50 Luminaries Claire Heyrman Pg. 231 Besides being on the television screen, Clyde Livingston was also sitting on the couch next to Stanley. This is important because “Sweet Feet”, Stanley’s hero, no longer hated him. Pg. 233 A woman sitting in the chair behind Hector was absentmindedly fluffing his hair with her fingers. This is important because Hector has either found his mother, or found someone that will take care of him.
